I saw a tweet that inspired me to write this one and something my sister has said to me. As fans I believe we should stop he normalization of forcing others to listen to kpop.

I know very well that there are some that don’t do this, however there is some fans that do try to force others to listen to kpop.

While it isn’t necessarily bad to show others kpop, it’s bad when you take it too far. All I’m saying is if the person doesn’t end up likening kpop after the first listen, please don’t feel like you need to be on some type of journey to try to change their mind.

If they don’t like it, please understand their preference. We are all humans who like and dislike different things.

Also, please don’t automatically believe just because the person doesn’t kpop, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are being xenophobic/racist. Yes, there are those who are like that (which is disgusting) but some are not.
