Hi folks, quick personal note! Despite the excitement we feel on the eve of a big release it feels morally irresponsible to not acknowledge the seriousness of the reality we’re in and encourage us all to make a change where we can.

I’m very conscious of the extreme juxtaposition between the joy we hope to share when we release something we’ve worked really hard on and the overwhelming pain and anguish of seeing, time after time, our country fail our Black friends and family. It reeks of contrition!

I feel so hopeless and useless most days by the constant barrage of horrible news but make no mistake, so long as we’re around we’re going to continue to do whatever we can to use our platform and proceeds for lasting change. We hope you do too!

So please, make a donation to an org in your community, attend a protest, go on strike, do anything but never forget to use your voice and pocketbook to raise awareness and demand change!
