This is the beginning of a new era. Simultaneous global release used to be reserved for only tentpoles, franchises, & family films --- but streaming makes such simultaneous global releases the default model for ALL genres.

And this is where it gets REALLY interesting: No one yet knows what works or why.
So: People will take all kinds of bets. Yes, mistakes will be made, but also so will some crazy ass bat shit bold moves that will change the way things are done.

In between all of these extremes, we the people (the movie loving community) will get a wide array of work at the same time that our sisters & brothers in every corner of the world receive it too.

As an added bonus: We have not yet learned how to harness the two way communication around the global appreciation of a work, but when we (or they do), something awesome could happen. It is going to get better & better!
