This is going to be two separate threads. I am, as a South Dakotan, going to explain who @govkristinoem really is. One thread will be linked at the end with all sources. They are all local. The (#) indicates the story with the claim. Let's now talk about who Kristi Noem really is

The Sioux Tribe had to take Covid-19 precautions, as the nearest hospital is 3 hours away. They wanted to sit & talk to @govkristinoem. She took them to federal court & sued them. They are amongst the poorest in the nation (1) & (2).

The Crow Creek Tribe now has
7 members dead. 23/78 infected were TWO WEEKS Ago. The current numbers are unknown. No one has reasons to travel to the tribe by location. They had Covid-19 security groups to protect from tourists & two came in - infecting the tribe. (3) & (4)

There is now a Tribal Sucide Task Force on the Pine Ridge Reservation. They said that the pandemic conditions have contributed to it. (5)

South Dakota Testing for today was only **86 tests**. The positive test rate was 76.7%. (6)

In Meade Co., which is where Sturgis is located, there were only 9 Tests Yesterday. 6 Positive. The average test done weekly are around 20-25. (7)

The 4th of July Fireworks Show that hosted Trump was said to be privately funded, but taxpayers footed the bill. (8)

A $400,000 wall will be built around her mansion again by 'private funding'. Obviously a lot of South Dakotans are unsure where the actual funds will come from after the previous incident. (9)

Kristi Noem has used hundreds of thousands state dollars for a Fox News studio to boost conservative profile while ignoring local media to communicate with constituents. (10)

Schools in SD are doing fundraisers for supplies to keep kids safe while SD got $1.25bn in Covid-19 funding & has a $19mi surplus. Noem refuses to spend it or a call special session - with bipartisan state legislation support wanting one. (11) & (12)

Noem refuses to spend extra money on extra unemployment benefits as SD unemployment numbers rise & refuses to answer questions by local media & constituents. (13)

Noem enrolled South Dakota in the first state hydroxychloroquine trials, with zero evidence when there should have been a focus on mass testing. (14)

The horrific Smithfield outbreak that disproportionately impacted minorities & went under-reported. (15)

Having one of the largest Medicare gaps in the Nation to where even if you have zero dollars, you do not qualify for health insurance unless you have a child & family of 2 can only make $775 gross/mo. (16)

Kristi Noem refused to expand Medicaid during a global pandemic when thousands lost their insurance & did not qualify for the ACA, which requires a family of 2 to make $17,000 in a calendar year to qualify for the tax credit, making the insurance affordable. (17)

Kristi Noem refused to issue a mortitorium on rent & utilities while unemployment was at historic highs in the state. (18)

Thousands of teachers have had to use their own time, money, & ingenuity to place barriers to protect our children, as there is no mask policy. (19)

Over 600 are in quarantine at at SD universities. This doesn't include K-12 schools. Cases in both are soaring. (20)

The city of Sturgis voted against the rally by 62% but was forced to have it regardless (21).

The anti-mask policy @govkristinoem has taken & the consequences that South Dakotans will feel from Sturgis for the foreseeable future (the guilt many of us carry, despite being against Sturgis, because it is infecting other states is heavy as well) (22) & (23).

The lack of leadership from Noem has confused schools & caused chaos. In a small town the person you disagree with in masks is your neighbor. Friend. Someone you care for. Now you have anger. There is much resentment & division in small communities that once were close (24).

Noem has bragged since day one South Dakota has always been open. She is using the fact that South Dakota has lax Covid-19 restrictions to lure businesses to South Dakota. (25)

Kristi Noem right now is appearing at the RNC while South Dakota cases are rising & schools are in session for the first 1-2 week, abandoning her responsibilities. (26)

And this one is my personal opinion, South Dakota is the only state where marajuana is still a felony. This disproportionately affects minorities. If South Dakota is so 'free' like she claims, why is it still a felony? (27)

Kristi Noem spent $440,000 on an out-of-state firm for a meth awareness campaign that used the slogan, "Meth, we're on it." (28)

As you can see, it has been hard. South Dakotans feel strongly about this corruption, but we can't turn to our leadership in the Senate or Congress. They are as complicit.

We need help. We need something to give here. We are a state that is managed by the female Trump.

I am saying this because I love my state. It is a beautiful state that is being filled with so much ugliness now.

Before the pandemic, I was shy & quiet. I'm nervous always & hate confrontation. But I can't stay silent about this. I just can't. I love my community too much.

And I feel we need to protect our most vulnerable not by words, but by actions. I'm terrified to see what is going to happen so much as a week from now if we continue down this path. 86 tests? That's terrifying. 600+ college students in quarantine? Tribal suicide task forces?

I can't stay silent.
