After a long week of questions we’re finally getting an initial account of what happened during the #JacobBlake shooting from the @WisDOJ

I want to emphasize this account is coming from the Wisconsin DOJ and Kenosha PD officers were not wearing body cameras while on scene. #JacobBlake

The officer involved in the shooting has been identified as Officer Rusten Sheskey. He was the only officer to open fire; he shot 7 times.

According to the @WisDOJ Jacob Blake admitted to having a knife on his person and investigators found that knife on the scene in the drivers side floorboard of his vehicle.
