2. We cannot forget that the school of criminology has so far existed in service to imperialism by applying a scientific basis to justify the will & the actions of the colony in “managing” us and pathologising us as the “problem”

3. We need to be bold and call for abolition, even if that means erasure of the very jobs that we draw a salary from. The only way to stop deaths in custody is to stop incarcerating us. The only way to stop over policing us is to abolish police....

This is not rocket science, but it does require bravery, it’s requires us to be bold, and staunch and certain of the right way forward. This is a crucible moment, we must seize on it and stand for nothing less than liberation, safety, love and care for all
