2/ Years from now, many will likely cite Supreme Court’s 2020 employment decision protecting gender identity as turning point, but real moment was when a young boy did something braver than any of us could imagine. He stepped forward to demand equality w/ no sense he would win.

3/ I can’t imagine the intimidation, fear & uncertainty he faced in his small community. But when he stepped forward against the odds, he changed the course of history. He surely suffered more from the case than he gained. The rest of us owe him a debt of gratitude. #ThankGavin
