There are a lot of folks saying that Sasha White was fired for being a woman and that men are not fired for transphobia.

The reality is that there is a LOT of transphobia and people are rarely fired for it — but here are some men Sasha can feel in good company with:

Gavin McGuinness from his Ad Agency at Rooster — and from a film he was making at the time.

He recovered by founding The Proud Boys - an alt-right neo-fascist group that was recently taped clashing with Black residents.

Pastor Justin Hoke for signage about Caitlyn Jenner and calling Homosexuality a sin.

Dr. Allen Johnson — seen here at The Heritage Foundation — which is group GCers have organized with as well.

Right wing sports commentator Curt Schilling who now works for Breitbart and plans to run for President as a Republican in 2020

Dr. Kenneth Zucker — a Psychologist who recommends removing dolls from amab to support typical gender roles. The clinic slandered him around the firing and he won an undisclosed settlement.

Comedian Shane Gillis — arguably he was fired for racism but the podcast clips that got him fired contained racism and transphobia.

John Kluge - A teacher in Indiana who refused to use a trans students name and pronouns and says “it is sinful to promote transgender behavior.”

He had filed a federal lawsuit

Peter Vlaming a Virginia teacher was given the opportunity to sign a paper saying he would actively use a trans kids pronouns — he refused

The lawsuit says his religious conscious prevents him from lying.

Pronouns are lying is a GC taking point too.

UFC fighter Matt Mitrione had his contract suspended for calling Fallon Fox "lying, sick, sociopathic, disgusting freak."

Sasha also criticized the appearance and “fake breasts spilling out” of trans women of color

Joshua Sutcliffe settles over pronouns saying “not share [] belief in the ideology of transgenderism”

We later fired from a second school for Islamaphobia

It seems like you have to be pretty actively transphobic to be fired for transphobia.

Lots of proper aren’t, some are given new Netflix specials.

No one in Hollywood has been fired for transphobic jokes and slurs like the have for racism.

Meanwhile 1000s of trans people have been fired on the basis of being trans for 50 years plus.

The Supreme Court only ruled that trans people were covered under sex discrimination THIS YEAR after denying to hear similar cases since the 70s.

There are absolutely ways to discuss trans issues without rooting it in transphobia or risking doing illegal things

The “gendered” appearance of trans folks is protected under Title VII.

Federal judges have said that using “biological pronouns” is not protected free speech.

Misgendering will likely be protected discrimination too if I missed it and it isn’t already.

Bathroom access is protected almost everywhere in the us and blocking access or assaulting trans folks would be illegal.
