I'm sickened by what's happening in Kenosha.
Acts of racist violence can happen anywhere.
But what I feared most is coming true: local government's incompetency is making a dangerous situation much worse.

But what I feared most is coming true: local government's incompetency is making a dangerous situation much worse.
After covering government in Kenosha, here's what I know: the city is run by an insular and amateur group. I couldn't believe the petty infighting I saw.

That contractor was hired to a cushy new IT job with the city despite being under investigation for illegally accessing city emails.
