One beautiful side effect of the hell that is 2020? Everyone everywhere can be a part of Frameline, San Francisco's dynamic & amazing long-running LGBTQ+ film fest.

You can watch these short films all about non-binary folks from the comfort of your home!

You can watch this documentary about queer Black Lives Matter activists in Chicago from your home! https://frameline.org/festival/film-guide/unapologetic
You can watch this drama about a Montana man parenting a trans kid from home! https://frameline.org/festival/film-guide/cowboys
There are so many more lovely titles to seek out and support. Nothing has ever made me feel more loved and at home in the queer community than Frameline. Every time I stand in line for a Frameline screening, I'm moved to tears by how grateful I am for the people around me.
Frameline going virtual is such a great opportunity for queer folks around the country who rarely find themselves in a physically supportive community. Also, marginalized voices are centered here, and it's a rare gift to see a fest where diverse stories are the norm.
I especially recommend that friends who have never been to a film festival or who don't work in film writing check out Frameline. Queer pals, allies, and anyone who just wants to find a good movie to watch from home. I know you'll find something you love! https://frameline.org/
UGH I FOUND FINE PRINT THAT THE FEST IS GEOLOCKED FOR CALIFORNIA ONLY. 🤬 NEVERMIND I GUESS! I'm not deleting this thread because the sentiment still stands and hopefully California friends are able to check it out.
