“They needed to let older ones train” I know this is hard to grasp but the reason that happened was so there wasn’t a conflict of interest once the child grew up. They got the parents’ permission. They only took them really young if their home situation was unstable.

Yes Luke got trained later but that’s because literally everyone was wiped out. It’s not some indoctrination shit, because for one thing indoctrination implies brainwashing and that means you’re saying teaching mindfulness is brainwashing.
