If you're first response to the NBA boycotting games is "what about China" you are the inception point of the whole problem

Such small-minded thinking is why for so long, people have minimized the wholistic problem of racism in our country

It's a "we" thing - all of us, but shaming other people because you choose to ignore facts is circular thinking that progresses nothing

Quit pretending like you know what's best when you've never experienced it first hand

You envy these athletes so much that them having an opinion and using their massive platform - that dwarfs you by 10 fold - that it scares you
That's where all this derives from - fear

Fear your privileged life will get disrupted

Fear you'll have to talk about uncomfortable things

Fear that you may not be quite as important as you thought you were

Fear that these athletes actually have influence and you don't
