some people are missing the point on why the video made some people upset, so im gonna explain it here.

so in the video he was moving his hand and arm a lot, and it was during an interview on a big talk show. these two points put together suggest that the movements could (1/?)
be a sign of nervousness/anxiety.
they could very well have just been general movements cos he fidgets.
because we don't know the reason for him fidgeting, some people thought it was in poor taste to talk about it in a sexual manner.
to people who stim in similar ways (2/?)
this sexualising could come across like stimming isn't taken seriously and is treated like something that isn't a big deal, when in reality it can effect neurodivergent people a lot and make them feel as though they stand out in a negative way.

as i said we don't know if (3/?)
he was stimming or if he was just fidgeting, but for the sake of people who do stim it's better to assume that it was more than fidgeting.

i know some people will still disagree after reading this thread, but if you do please don't go on about it on the tl or through the (4/?)
pedro twt confessions page. doing that only invalidates the concerns of the people who spoke up about how the context of the video made them feel.

idk if this made much sense but uhhh yeah,, don't be a dick when someone says they're uncomfortable
thanks
