I'm so sick & tired of the corruption that runs rampant in this country I could scream.

Oswego County NY is predominantly pro-Trump & GOP. It is my belief that our county health dept. lied about when Covid came here. I sent a complaint about this to State Senator Ritchie's..

office and rec'd an email today from someone on her staff, asking me to call. I found that request odd, given that what we ended up discussing over the phone could have easily been handled by email.

When I complained about how I believe that OCHD lied about when Covid first....

came here, he told me that Senator Ritchie's office contacted the Governor's office and was told by them that their office (meaning that of @NYGovCuomo ) made an error about the date that Covid first appeared in my neck of the woods.

I still don't buy it. Hastings-on-Hudson....

in Westchester County is very close to where our Governor grew up. There's no way he'd confuse that place with Hastings in Oswego County.

Someone who called in to @RepBrindisi Covid teleconference on March 19th, who said she's a medical transport driver, claimed she had it on

good authority that Covid was already here on that date.

ALREADY. What I find significant about her statement is that no one on the teleconference panel, inc. a couple of SUNY doctors, contradicted her statement.

I still have reasons to doubt the county's official....

timeframe and not only that, it still refuses to give out detailed information about current cases inc. possible exposures. What little information they do give out is vague.

I'm not the only person to have complained about this, contrary to what pro-OCHD trolls on FB would say

Then there's @Hilton4Sheriff - aka #DonHilton - who took part in the Trump flotilla on Oneida Lake with some of his uniformed officers on a dept. vessel. This took place in early August.

Hilton's little adventure was in violation of the Hatch Act but so far nothing's been done

about this either, except for a public hearing where Hilton was chided by some county officials and members of the public and that is IT.

Nothing will done to him unless it's on the State level.

I learned that you can't trust ANYTHING a Republican says to you, whether on the

local, state or federal level.

I can't trust law enforcement. Look at what's been going on across the country inc. Portland, Chicago and Kenosha. Trump continues to incite his supporters to commit acts of violence and nothing is being done to stop him....or them.

Trump is taking advantage of the Covid pandemic to avoid having to leave office. The federal response to this crisis has been rather lacking, to say the least. This is by design.

Then we've got Hurricane Laura, which is set to make landfall this evening. The last thing we...

need is a major hurricane PLUS an out-of-control pandemic.

Hurricane Laura has the potential to become a super-spreader event.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I have little hope that life will improve in the near future. I'm sick of seeing Trump & his goons get away

with murder. If Trump loses the election (which he should), he will fight tooth and nail AND use every dirty trick in the book to stay put.

His base will let him do just that, as will the Senate.

I hate life in Trump's America.

As long as Trump remains in office, NO ONE is safe, regardless of where they live.
