10. Amine- Limbo
This high energy release is a lot of fun and a visible improvement from his previous releases imo. Some genuinely fantastic tracks give this album a strong start, and while it wavers towards the back end its definitely worth a try and has been in rotation heavy.

9. Yves Tumor- Heaven To A Tortured Mind (alt rock)
I love the sinister yet grand instrumentation on this record. The opening track sets the albums tempo perfectly and there is many high points throughout that collect to make a memorable alt rock record.

This record is full of memorable emo revival, with some stellar vocal performances and high energy, with entertaining riffs and melodies.
Green Squirrel is also a top 10 track of the year for me, amazing.

Off the back off Griselda's rising popularity, Westside Gunn comes through with a record that perfect encapsulates his wit, charm, energy and flaws in a succinct record which is fun and doesn't overstay its welcome.

Laura Marling- Song For Our Daughter (singer/songwriter)
Laura has never stuck with me on a record like this. Some amazing instrumental performances and beautiful vocals, she manages to ride the line perfectly between emotional and overbearing.

Freddie Gibbs & The Alchemist- Alfredo
This album is so great, playing to the strength of both collaborators with some breezy and some sinister instrumentals for Freddie to drop his signature coke rap liners over- and a great collection of features to round out a great project.

Mac Miller- Circles
This album is such an emotional ride, to hear Mac fully realise his new sound & growth, combined with some harrowing lyrics when heard in retrospect, this record is as feel good to hear as it is upsetting to come to terms with.

TOPS- I Feel Alive (indie pop)
This album is so solid from front to back, with some amazing ear worm melodies combined with a short run time. This perfect storm makes this one of my most played records of the year.
Tracks I reccomend would be Too Much and Ballads & Sad Movies.

RAP Ferreira- Purple Moonlight Pages
A beautifully composed LP, with abstract raps laced over incredibly jazzy and smooth instrumentals. This album grows on me more with each listen, Ferreira's charm shining brighter every new spin. The most underrated hip hop release of 2020.

Phoebe Bridgers- Punisher (indie)
This record sees Phoebe take that next step towards stardom, with incredible instrumentals helping to pad out the record behind her beautiful vocals and sorrowed lyricism. Savior Complex is a top 5 song of the year for me also.
