If authorities refuse to protect citizens and property from violence, there will be a vaccum that creates a dangerous situation for all. Last night’s violence was the result of @GovEvers turning down the offer of additional National Guard help. Let’s hope he learns from it.

You shouldn’t need armed private citizens to protect neighborhoods from violence, but that need is being created now by those who choose to ignore and enable that violence. That includes those in the press that continue to spin for those committing it.

Now is the time for bipartisan action to protect innocent people. That requires pressure on politicians from the press to do the right thing. Then you take away any incentive for any type of vigilante action.
