No. Kyle Rittenhouse murdered two people last night in Kenosha, Wisconsin. People. Protesting is a thing that they happened to be doing; it does not define them. (See any headlines lately calling Breonna Taylor a "sleeper" because she was sleeping when she was murdered?)

Calling them protestors erases their humanity and all of their contributions to society. It reduces them to a dismissible status: they become just agitators, rabble-rousers, undesirable elements that perhaps deserved to be shot, not human beings

US citizens exercising their constitutional rights. Words matter. These were people.
