My partner @temporalhiccup has been working on it since March, putting many of the concepts through the paces of rigorous playtesting and QA. And that's just the beginning. Towards release, more mysteries, guidance on how to create your own will get folded in.
This is the most ambitious Sword Queen Game yet, in my opinion, drawing inspiration from all versions of Hellboy and the BPRD, the urban melancholy of games like Unavowed, the square shouldered against the odds attitude of Evolve and the clinical weirdness of Control.
I've also been working closely with them to curate a playlist that sets the mood for the game.
