For every parent and child out there trying hard to manage Type 1 diabetes: I fell in love with diabetics during camp as a resident @IWKHealthCentre. Sometimes I feel like I’m not getting through. T1D is such a burdensome disease the everyone’s struggles hard.

But, then, I get a text from a patient I’ve known since 2003. And I know that kids with diabetes are going to be just fine as adults even if their A1c doesn’t show it now. @MelindaMWedding @DiabeticDadUK #type1diabetes
