MY TOP 10 BEST OUTKAST SONGS OF ALL TIME (A THREAD):
RULES:

Unfortunately I've decided to MOSTLY include tracks from "Southerplaya" and "Idlewild", I love those projects but this list will include some of their most played, most praised songs to date. As well as the tracks that are the most important in forging their identity.
#10 - Babylon

We have The Dope Boyz reflecting on themselves, Andre reminiscing over his first sexual encounter, Antwan on the other hand establishing how different his style is. Andrea's hook is so ethereal and beautiful with every listen.

Best Performance: Big Boi
#9 - SpottieOttieDopalicious

A whole musical marvel. Front to back the entire experience is just a funky, uplifting, nocturnal, psychedellic odyssey and a hundred other words that don't do the song justice. The imagery that they paint is incredible.

Best Performance: Big Boi
#8 - Aquemini

This whole album has mastered an aquatic and exquisite aesthetic, the title track perfectly represents the brand of the album, as well as what these two are capable of. Big Boi's flows are dynamic and one of Dre's best verses land here.

Best Performance: Andre
#7 - Roses

Everyone's already fallen head over heels with Andre's artistic capabilities. The wild, difficult to pin down performance, all about a gorgeous girl with an unattractive attitude. The instrumental? Ahead of its time. Big Boi's verse? Underrated, as usual. MASTAPEECE.
#6 - Mainstream

The best posse cut of all time? Everyone pushes a different energy into the mic. Lyrically, no one gets left behind. Everyone's pengame is top-tier. The dynamic leaves me speechless. Dre and Antwan especially spit shit I resonate with.

Best Performance: Andre
#5 - Humble Mumble

Big Boi. Andre. Erykah. They all kill it over commentary that deal with surviving in the game, Antwan deals with the unexpected trials that make you eternal. Andre cleverly addressing critics with another one of his best verses.

Best Performance: Andre
#4 - B.O.B.

One of Hip-Hop's finest moments. A mammoth of an instrumental where Antwan and Dre go FUCKING MAD. It deserves its own passage in the bible. Stacks setting us up with world-ending imagery and Big Boi building even more momentum. Semen.

Best Performance: Big Boi
#3 - 13th Floor / Growing Old

This song just makes me realize that there isn't a single musical act in history I relate to more than I do OutKast. This is the one group I guarantee I'll resonate with until... I grow old. I can't put it into words...

Best Performance: Big Boi
#2 - Da Art of Storytelling

Unbelievable. Everything these two spit is so effortlessly vivid. Part one is the setup, part two is the reaction, and everything is in shambles. An artistic statement few rappers have reached.

Best Performance: Andre (Pt. 1), Big Boi (Pt. 2)
#1 - Xplosion

Not what most would've expected I presume. But this, in my opinion, the greatest joint to breathe in the galaxy of Hip-Hop. The instrumental melts my god damn brain. There isn't a single blind spot where these three slip up. This is a masterpice in every sense.
Andre's hyper abstract performance lands up as one of his best. B-Real's unnecessarily aggressive verse ends up being one of the most essential features in the genre. Big Boi's humble attitude and impeccable flow....

Best Performance: Who gives a fuck all these niggas killed it.
