Gonna go back to doing my job in a minute — but have VERY little patience for the couch sitters and Twitter clowns today.
Since the lockdown started, i reported that a member of congress was renting from a top donor and a friend, and later that he had built a studio in his father’s house and was improperly paying a guy who was fired from the WH for being involved w white supremacy.
I reported that a senior member of the WH staff was seemingly doing errands for corporate lobbyists. He no longer has a job because of my reporting
I WISH cable news covered these issues. I wish people cared more than they do. It& #39;s disappointing. That was my point in Playbook this morning.
A few years ago, @apalmerdc and @brespolitico and i wrote a series of stories about Bill Shuster, the House transportation chairman, being in a relationship with a lobbyist and pushing her issues.
Aaron Schock was indicted on two dozen counts bc my reporting w @apalmerdc and @brespolitico.
Gonna go back to my job now. If you& #39;d like to talk to me about public corruption, misspending, the Hatch Act or any of these issues please do. I dont think I& #39;ve ever been asked on TV for these stories.
No one pays them any mind. I do them bc they& #39;re important. I spend more time thinking and writing about them than most.
Now shut up and do some reporting, you clowns. and come at me when you have broken some news.
