Right now on @SEzekwesili's show, a woman is telling her story. Her husband died, and his relatives accused her of killing him, and connived with his company to divert his benefits.
They also had the police arrest her.

Listen live with me, because I weak https://www.nigeriainfo.fm/lagos/
Immediately her husband died, Police locked her up for 2 days, without explanation or charge.
While she was in police custody, her in-laws and staff of her husband's company, ransacked her home, supposedly to "investigate" the death.
After she was released from Panti, the in-laws had her re-arrested. This time, they took her to Alagbon Close.

She spent a total of 6 months in custody.
Her husband's colleague - one of those that ransacked the house with the in-laws - tried to take the kids from school while she was in custody. The school authorities refused. https://www.nigeriainfo.fm/lagos/
She came out of lock-up after half a year, and went to her late husband's employer - NNPC/NAPIMS - to start processing the benefits for her and her 3 kids (16, 13, and 4 at the time).

The company said they've handed over benefits to brother-in-law. https://www.nigeriainfo.fm/lagos/
She's in the studio with a man who says he's been her helper. He says immediately after the death, the relatives and colleagues even moved the body from Military Hospital to Eko Hospital, in an attempt to change the autopsy report, but it wasn't successful.
Apparently the man's relatives rushed to Port Harcourt, got a Letter Of Administration, and used it to obtain a court order instructing his bank to give them his money. N11Million.

The bank complied. https://www.nigeriainfo.fm/lagos/
Mind you, before this dodgy court order came, the widow had already begun the process with the bank of getting the money. Probate letter and all that. But the court order preempted all that. https://www.nigeriainfo.fm/lagos/
She has taken the matter to court.
The case is dragging on.

Now, these usurpers are offering to settle out of court. They want a 50-50 split of her husband's NNPC gratuity.

Imagine. https://www.nigeriainfo.fm/lagos/
I don't know whether the tears in my eyes are from anger or despair.

This woman is saying she's been living in fear of her life. https://www.nigeriainfo.fm/lagos/
While she was in custody, her lawyer obtained a court order stopping anyone from burying her husband or disposing of his estate.

In spite of this, his people buried him without her or the children present. And NNPC disbursed part of his gratuity to his relatives.
She is appealing to the President, the Minister of State for Petroleum, the GMD NNPC, MD NAPIMS, and the Governors of Lagos and Rivers to intervene.

💔💔💔 https://www.nigeriainfo.fm/lagos/
A policeman called, and has offered to connect her with principled officers in the correct jurisdiction, that can look into the fraud angle behind the Letter of Admin, court order, and disbursement of gratuity. https://www.nigeriainfo.fm/lagos/
