A thread on why Dan James would be a more important player for United than Messi

Dan James has proven himself in the Premier league already where Messi hasn’t , of course Messi could be good but when surrounded by non world class players he lacks quality. Dan James on the other hand has had a better debut season than Ronaldo when he joined United

I can confidently say Dan James would be 100% more impactful off the bench than Messi as Greenwood gets the starting spot ahead of both , Messi lacks the speed and doesn’t have the intelligence to play in the premier league that we’ve seen James have

James is also better in the sense we haven’t see any player in the league like him in terms of his pace and ability to take on players , however if you look at Messi there are multiple players with the same style as him and we’ve seen players like Traore Pocketed by Luke shaw

In conclusion I’m not by any means saying Dan James is better than Messi (maybe in future ) but he is definitely a better option off the beach with his pace and dribbling , Messi just hasn’t proven himself enough around non World class players
