Not really a pro-tip, but just from experience.

IF you have an ebook/pdf product

and want to use it as a FREE lead magnet for opt-ins

Instead of using Gumroad, read below.

*QUICK THREAD*

1. Sign up for free on ConvertKit

They have a free plan.

Use it to create a landing page

to then plug your ebook in.

2. Create a substack.

You can't really plug in your ebook internally.

But you can create a blog(to provide value)

that links back to your landing page(made with CK).

3. Substack is more for providing value.

They also have an opt-in option to gather emails.

But in cases where you have a digital product or ebook

I'd suggest doing #2

So you're more bulletproof.
