Anyway now seems a good time to review:

I would not have been shot had police not felt free to shoot journalists

I would not have been in Minneapolis had police not killed george Floyd

Police would not kill people so much if they thought they would be held to account for it

Ergo: only reason I lost my eye is because people keep having to tell police to stop killing and maiming them, and

The takeaway from the summary public execution of a Black dude by uniformed agents of the state is not that I lost my eye, and

Ain’t nobody free till everyone is.

Idk why that gets difficult for people but it’s pretty straightforward.

Maybe stop summary executions in the streets and then ain’t nobody has to decide about is humanity worth an eye or a storefront

Probably just don’t let the state kill residents extrajudicially!
