The #DCAU is top tier DC. It tells serious, well written stories, while also keeping the fun and colorful aesthetics of the universe. It is a fantastic juxtaposition when you see this Superman and this Batman deal with a 2 season long government conspiracy.
JLU never asks you to take these characters seriously by putting them in darker costumes or making them act more "realistic". Instead the show is about the relationships between these heroes and the struggle that comes with the life they have chosen
The DCAU is also a complete story that has a begining, middle, and end.
You get to see these characters grow and change In a very satisfying way. You see #Batman

that is able to be the lovable boy scout but also have a real character. We see DCAU Superman get angry and doubt himself in a very real and believable way while never having him lose what makes him Superman.

There is not really a point to this thread I just love the #DCAU so much and I'm glad I got to grow up with such an amazing interconnected universe of heroes that grew up with me.
