there’s such an interesting juxtaposition between eunbi and hyewon, not even in a shippy way but just the way they treat each other and i have no where else to place these thoughts so here’s an unnecessary thread to rot in the drafts.

eunbi is four years older than hyewon so obviously there’s a level of maturity she possesses that hyewon doesn’t in that way and hyewon does rely a lot on eunbi as an older friend and leader to help her

but hyewon is the older sibling her own family, so she’s used to caring for others and being mature. eunbi is the maknae of her family so she’s used to being babied and cared for. hyewon often provides that sturdy pillar that eunbi can lean on if she needs to, and it’s noticeable

you can see it in the way eunbi acts that she’s a little childish and little goofy and sometimes is doing a little too much for the members to handle, but hyewon takes it all in stride. she’s probably used to dealing with overzealousness. she reassures eunbi and goes along with+

her pranks and silly behavior. but she also notices what eunbi needs emotionally and gives that to her. compliments and care that a younger sibling is usually spoiled with, and hyewon knows exactly how to provide it as an older sibling.

eunbi is one thing that can make hyewon cry, and that shows how much hyewon wants to care for eunbi in whatever way she can and i’m sure none of us will ever forget the encore where hyewon looked at eunbi with clear concern until she saw her doing fine, so hyewon started grinning

idk man, i just love how their friendship is so honest and so pure. and eunbi saying hyewon compliments and cares for her a lot, more than she expected, hit the nail on the head and is the reason i’m actually posting this thread that has been in the drafts forever lmao
