How much is enough?

..like all bitcoiners I think I'm late to the party and stack sats because it's the best savings asset available to me..

..yet I asked and answered the "how much is enough" question decades ago for my own peace of mind - both for my needs and my wants

It's one of the important questions to ask because it defines where your boundaries of greed lie.

Much of current culture likes to tell us "more is better" - and in some things that's true:

Friends who carry us when we're broken, and celebrate with us when we succeed,

Family whom we nurture, and in turn who nurture us;

Health that is the foundation upon all we do..

..but in most other things including food, home, space and wealth, after needs are met, that's when the vast open savannah of wants begin

The fuel for this is rarely those in your care, but the sirens of status, ego and the tribes to which you belong - or seek to belong.

All count for sweet FA in the greater scheme

So ask yourself, how much is enough, and while you're at it: what is your greater scheme?
