New transfers...a thread!

I am not believing the Messi rumour until I see him wearing a city shirt, a pic of him with Pep (recent) and I see “breaking news” on every sports channel. He will be the most expensive player in #FPL and probably 80% + owned...

Would I get him, maybe, but my initial gut feeling is no, I would see how he does for a few games. What I do think Messi would become is the enabler to many more points for the likes of KDB and Aguero, I haven’t thought much about Kun, but if Messi signs, he’s on the radar..

But let’s move from Messi and jump into some other rumours. Rodrigo to Leeds, it’s pretty much done right? Exciting that...I think he will be a little gem in FPL this year and I think Leeds in general could surprise a few. 30m as well is a good price...

Everton! Doucoure, Allan and James Rodriguez....thats a transfer window win if that comes off! Again exciting from an FPL point of view, maybe not Doucoure because he’s to defensive, but the other two, 100%

Then we have Chelsea who have already done some great business early...Werner, Ziyech, with the possibilities of Havertz, Chilwell, Thiago Silva and the youngster Malang Sarr. Insane business, Roman must have sold a boat...

Then there’s United!! Who’s done....fuck all, apart from be rumoured to sign the same player over and over every year and not get him. Guys, try signing some defenders....

Spurs signed Holjberg who isn’t an FPL asset really but he will be nice CDM cover for them. I don’t see any other business from them happening....imagine if they grabbed Bale on deadline day, surprise us all like they did with Van der Vaart! Scenes...

Arsenal are in for Gabriel, they do need a defender! They signed Willian, still don’t know why...they may sell AMN to Wolves, that’s also strange....talking of Wolves and Spurs above, I forgot, they want Doherty, clearly good for them, not sure for FPL...

Fulham want Ollie Watkins, who wouldn’t after last season, but can he cut it in prem? Palace signed Eze yesterday from QPR, that’s great business, keeping an eye on his FPL price...and then we start to wrap up this thread with Suarez, where will he go?
