2/ noted that an identical tweets was being shared by multiple individual accounts. The tweet was the classic trope along the lines of 'I used to be a democrat, saw the error of my ways, became a republican'. See screenshots below... The original tweet was likely from
3/ @WentDemtoRep on 23 August. It got 11,000 retweets and was liked 39000 times. Not bad for a brand new account! The question is, for what reason did Twitter suspend it. It's unlikely a random joker would be able to generate that much engagement off the bat without a lot of
4/ luck. The trope is clearly designed to try and encourage BLM supporters and black American to believe they would not be alone in abandoning to the democratic party. We know the IRA have posed as BLM activists before (I am not saying this is the IRA!). But who is it? #disinfo
