I agree with Doc Rivers message

But not everyone in their fight against injustice does. Some ARE fighting to defund police. Some ARE looting/attacking police out of anger

Let& #39;s try to get on the same page to tackle some really tough issues
Also these issues aren& #39;t solved overnight. Correcting bad culture/systems/stereotypes/bad profiling is not a simple task

Burning cities to the ground anytime an officer somewhere uses excessive force is problematic, even if were making positive progress
One of the best changes/proposals i& #39;ve seen is involving social workers in nonviolent 911 calls. Or unarmed cops.

It is important to determine the distinction (for the safety of said worker/officer as well)
Use of force training may need to be revamped/better taught

Running away/resisting should not call for lethal force.

Also no knock raids should probably be eliminated. Leave that for the FBI. Police depts keep screwing it up
Blanket defunding/cutting the police funding does not guarantee less use of force issues

Also the police are meant to serve & protect. Lets hold those accountable who don& #39;t.

But lets not treat them so poorly that all the good ones quit.
On the bright side, we are moving in the right direction

Many police joined marches/protests related to George Floyd

The large large large majority of people agreed what happened to Floyd was unjust. Progress, right?
