How I envy those who are able to derive joy from D&D without 5-20 asterisks behind every pleasant moment.

It was such a huge part of my formation into an artist and human being. When I dove back into it after my mom died in 2007, it sort of marked a new phase/new beginning to my life. It drove my desire to paint again so that I could be an artist for D&D but now...no fucking thanks.

There's a level of hypocracy on my part here that I recognize, but tonight I am lamenting.
