GET TO KNOW X1 A THREAD:

Before I introduce the members let me tell you who X1 is first.
X1 is a newly debuted group who’s debut date is August 27, 2019. They were formed off of the 4th season of Mnet’s survival show Produce x 101 and they will have a contract of 5 years.

They are set to promote for 5 years under Swing Entertainment: the first half is meant for them to focus solely on the group and the second half they will be able to do work within their own companies-

-such as debuting as a soloist or a member of a new group or returning to resume work with a former group.

The final lineup of our 11 boys were finally announced to the world on July, 19 2019 on the finale episode of produce x 101. Now let’s talk about what they have already achieved.

Prior to debut, X1 made their Billboard chart debut on the charts Social 50 and Emerging Artists at No. 6 and No. 11, making them the first Korean artists to land a spot on the Social 50 prior to debut. They have also sold over 200,000 copies of their debut album-

-Emergency: Quantum Leap on only the first day. This album is also the first to reach #1 on Melon since wannaone in 2017. This debut album also sets the record of the highest First day sales for a debut album Ever male groups on Hanteo

Han Seungwoo (Rank 3)

-Member of the group Victon(debuted 2016)
-Picked by the members to become the leader
– Seungwoo, Yohan, and Junho are known as the “We Bare Bears” trio because they have performed every song together

Cho Seungyeon (Rank 5)

-Main Vocalist, Lead Rapper
-Born: August 5, 1996
-Company: Yuehua Entertainment
-Member of Uniq (debuted 2014)
- he is also known as his solo stage name woodz and formerly luizy
– participated in a Corinthians one of the largest Brazilian football team for 2 years.

Kim Wooseok (Rank 2)

- Born: October 27, 1996
- Company: TopMedia
-Member of Up10tion (debuted 2015)
– He graduated from Dong Ah Institute of Media and Arts, with Major in K-pop and Acting.

Kim Yohan (Rank 1)

-Lead Rapper, Vocalist, Center, Face of the Group
-Born: September 22, 1999
-Company: Oui Entertainment
– Her received a scholarship because of Taekwondo but did not want to let his dreams of becoming an idol slip away. Therefore, he quit completely.

Lee Hangyul (Rank 7)

-Main Dancer, Lead Vocalist
-Born: December 7, 1999
-Company: MBK Entertainment
-Member of IM66 (debuted 2017)
– Fans have given Hangyul, Seungyoun, and Dohyon the nickname of “Team Rocket” from all of their shenanigans.

Cha Junho (Rank 9)

-he is classmates with Han Chowon (Produce 48) and TXT‘s Taehyun and Heuning Kai

Son Dongpyo (Rank 6)

-Was the center for PDX’S pick me stage “X1MA”
– Dongpyo was a part of the dance group ARTBEAT, they were a K-Pop cover dance group.

– Eunsang is a talented dancer, he was even his middle schools dance club leader. He is self-taught in dancing.

– His top skill in dancing.
-He was the leader of X class, helping them with learning the dance to the show’s title song.He even became one of the most improved trainees

Nam Dohyon (Rank 8)

Main Rapper, Maknae
Born: November 10, 2004
Company: MBK Entertainment
– Throughout the course of the show, Dohyon was labeled a music genius for his skills at his age and training time.
