Protesters have begun to try to push over a fence in front of the courthouse in Kenosha. Sheriff’s deputies in riot gear have emerged from the courthouse. Some are throwing projectiles at the officers.
A couple hundred protesters remain here. A larger peaceful protest broke up shortly after 8 pm and mostly dispersed.
A pair of fireworks shot at officers near entrance of the courthouse. They are now putting on their gas masks and protesters are preparing for tear gas.
Officers and the National Guard repeatedly have advised the crowd this is an unlawful gathering. Most of the group remains with some consistently throwing by projectiles at law enforcement
