Bruce's disguised voice and the subtle, skull-like expression of his mask indicate how obsessed and experimental he is, too.

Vengeance & orphanage can be key themes in #TheBatman. Bruce could parallel Riddler: Maybe they're both angry children who had their innocence ripped away so soon and so suddenly.

While it's very very possible that Bruce's family had direct involvement with the corruption in Gotham, I think it's alternatively possible that Riddler is blaming them for being bystanders.

Selina Kyle can parallel Batman's vengeance, too.
As allies, they may both go through empowering transformations as the plot progresses in #TheBatman
But towards the end, Selina may kill the person that she is after, fully giving in to her shadow-self, opposite to Bruce. (4/4)
