Dad popped over and I happened to be doing my Meatless Monday (yes, on Tuesday, been busy, shuddup) meal, which happened to be fried zucchini flowers stuffed with pico de gallo & mozz. I have never seen my father eat this much food. "GodDAMN you can cook, baby." #ProudChestPuff
Only my second time cooking them. I had some in Spain a few years ago as a tapas (...tapa?) and damn near had a foodgasm in the cafe. Mine aren't as good yet, but the farmer's market has them cheap this time of year, so practice makes perfect.
I threw some diced garlic scapes in there too and that was perfect. They need something more, though... something to balance the taste. Mango goat pepper sauce was too much. Sweet and savory is on the right track, though. Will keep playing.
