Please understand that when you suggest that no one outside a demographic can engage with media depicting another demographic sexually, you are deliberately telling asexuals that they have no belonging in any sexual community. Asexuals have a libido, some can and do have sex.
Asexuals do NOT have a sex-based community that takes the time to explain "this character is asexual" before they masturbate or have sex with their asexual, heterosexual, bisexual, or homosexual (etc.) partner(s). Actions are considered to be paramount in media.
If a character has sex with another character who is the same gender, they are ASSUMED to be homosexual. But that might not be true. They could be bisexual. They could be ASEXUAL. But it's difficult to have those conversations within certain media and we don't see it often.
When you use words like "fetishizing" and by it you mean "you don't belong here," you are telling every single asexual that their sexuality and their expressions of sexual energy are invalid because THERE IS NO ASEXUAL SEXUAL MEDIA. You're locking us out and it's deliberate.
