1/ Political candidates do not bear “strict liability” for the people who endorse or support them. Joe Biden and the Democrats are not responsible for Richard Spencer’s endorsing them, and they have rightly rejected Spencer's endorsement and denounced him and his racism.

2/ Why would Richard Spencer endorse Joe Biden and vow to vote party-line Democrat? He's crystal clear about his commitment to legal abortion and belief in its importance: "Pro-lifers want to be radically dysgenic, egalitarian, multi-racial human rights thumpers—they’re not us."

3/ Spencer is malicious but not stupid. He knows and highly approves of where Planned Parenthood places its abortion facilities. He's well aware of Margaret Sanger’s racism and commitment to eugenics and of PP’s long history--until virtually yesterday--of guarding her reputation.

4/ As I say, Biden and the Democrats rejected Spencer's endorsement. He's a racist; they're not. But let no one affect to be naïve about why Spencer favors the candidate and party that promises to protect abortion and keep the money flowing to Planned Parenthood. It's no mystery.
