I want to push back on a point that was made repeatedly yesterday by media political pundits, and CPC and NDP political pundits across this country. They pushed a stupid, dangerous message.

YOU CAN AND YOU SHOULD JUDGE A CANDIDATE FOR PRIME MINISTER BY PEOPLE WHO SUPPORT THEM.

Secondly, YOU CAN AND YOU SHOULD JUDGE A CANDIDATE FOR PRIME MINISTER BY HOW THEY CAMPAIGNED DURING THE LEADERSHIP RACE.

We now have more information about the person who tried to murder the Prime Minister, and the groups he was connected to.

CBC conducted an investigation, which was just summarized on air (I don't know if there is an online story yet).

He was connected to extreme right wing white supremacist groups. You know their names, I don't want to say them.

The people who helped elect Erin O'Toole, Canada/Ontario Proud?

You might as well draw a straight line from those people to the white supremacist groups.

As a Canadian, I judge Erin O'Toole by those people.

That is not paranoid or silly, as pundits recklessly and dangerously implied yesterday.

That is being a responsible, informed voter.

Unlike the pundits.

Erin O'Toole could have at any time said "No, I disavow you, go away".

He did not.

In fact, he upped the ante and fed them overtly white supremacist messages targeting black people.

I judge and condemn Erin O'Toole and the Conservative Party for that.

So should you.
