It's hard to believe that we're having to go through this again. Jacob Blake, the latest African American victim of police brutality, is now fighting for his life in the hospital. Bullets hitting him not only in his back, but also his stomach, arm, and kidney.
I'm just....I'm just pissed the fuck off, more than ever. I have NO IDEA how much more I can say about these types of stories. I don't even more what else I can say. Hell I can't even wrap my head around the fact that this has to keep happening....in 2020.
Not to mention that THREE little boys, all under the age of 10, had to sit there and witness it all. I can't even imagine the trauma that they're having to go through. They're not gonna get that image outta their head. They can't. And all of this while trying to break up a fight.
On top of all this, not ONE MENTION of this incident from this president, or ANYBODY in that White House! That has to be the most heartless and inexcusable thing ANY of them could ever do. Not even one mention of it during their convention last night.
Why do we have to keep living this nightmare? Why hasn't this problem been solved? Why do we have to have the same conversation OVER AND OVER AGAIN?! I saw the news Sunday night and said "I thought we was over this!" I honestly don't know how imma get through this thread.
Another family is hurting. I just don't know what else I can say. I don't. What I can say is that I am hoping that Jacob can make a full recovery. I just hope and pray that he is able to see his sons again. And I hope that the officers involved are FIRED AND CHARGED!
