The knowledge barrier to getting into crypto has never been higher. It's atrocious.
Like imagine you see something about $YFI... now you have to go down the rabbit hole of yield farming, Compound, Uniswap, Maker, DEXes, Ethereum, Proof of Stake, Proof of Work, Bitcoin, decentralized systems, distributed databases, Austrian economics, like WTF?
Not to mention, to use any of this you have to know to download Metamask, learn what DAI is, now learn what Rinkeby DAI or whatever is, open a Coinbase account, wire funds in... could you imagine a higher friction experience? It’s a miracle that ANYONE makes it through the funnel
