It's finally here - our Soldier Field home opener.

The juxtaposition will be jarring: From 60,000+ expected on March 21 to a few hundred essential staff tonight.

You may remember that March 21 was going to be our "Homecoming" match.

It was going to be a celebration of Chicago and its people.

It was going to be the unveiling of an entirely new matchday experience.

It was going to be epic.

We were pretty jazzed about the “Homecoming” commemorative mark we created for the match.

And it was going to be all over the damn place:
• Captain's pennant gate giveaway
• Limited-edition scarf
• Limited-edition t-shirt
• Patch on the player's jerseys

We won’t be celebrating our full Soldier Field “Homecoming” tonight (that’s reserved for the next time we’ll all be together)

But we’ve got something that could see Soldier Field coming home… to you (see what I did there?)

We’ll be snagging one-of-a-kind items from Soldier Field tonight and giving them away LIVE as part of our #FireWatchParty campaign.

I love that we'll finally play in our new home tonight.

But, I can't wait until we can be at Soldier Field together, side by side, cheering on our team and standing for Chicago.
