Lawyers representing Harry Maguire and Manchester United are adamant that his charges of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and bribery should be dropped on appeal. They say the conviction was rushed without adequate time for the defence to prepare its case. #mufc

They reiterate the claim that Maguire's sister Daisy fainted after being injected by a group of men of Albanian appearance, and intend to present evidence showing injuries sustained by Harry and Daisy Maguire at a future appeal.

The legal team also says Harry Maguire has bruises consistent with being kicked by a group of eight Greek men, allegedly undercover policeman (not in uniform). They apparently told him "your career is over".

Maguire completely denies any allegation of bribery and that he ever said: “Do you know who I am…?”

United and Maguire believe today's case was rushed Defence only saw the evidence two hours before and only had time to call one witness. Until then Maguire's lawyers did not know what charges he was facing. Translations in court were poor.
