a very long, but very important and informative thread on why exo ot12 needs to be left in the past and be accepted as 9

i feel like i’m known for these threads at this point, but i’m here to educate ot12s as much as i van and if it means i need to remake this every month i will, a lot of posts that are ot12 have been gaining attention again and hopefully this will help them stop

this time i want this to be more organized and less rant heavy, i’ll separate the three each into their own sections, i hope you do bare with me and read all the way through

yifan (2012-2014)

to first start off we have yifan, he’s known as the first one to leave and he left during the overdose era promotions. starting off during this era yifan was very obviously uncomfortable has he had multiple health issues that sm continuously ignored

looking back at many stages, he’s visibly not well. if yifan hadnt left the group, he could’ve died and the fact that sm didn’t want to do anything for that when they knew damn well he wasnt doing good after asking him to cooperate and come back is disgusting honestly.

yifan in a way was forced out of exo by in own company but they still had the audacity to want to beg for him to come back just to fuck with him over and over again, and people just want to ignore this?? you’re just as bad as sm if you do honestly

onto him YEARS after he left, he’s been asked about his past in exo and he’s been uncomfortable with it. this interview in particular just irked me in every way the interviewer was so insensitive and rude with his questions, especially pushing ones of his father is sick

luhan (2014-2014)

as luhan was a member of exom, he was traveling very often from korea to china and the other way around. the bad part of this was that luhan had a phobia of heights. instead of trying to get help or comfort sm used a tranquilizer or either had him be drunk for the flight.

honestly this is just fucked up, luhan was practically being forced onto these flights and was never given proper treatment for his fear, only force was used

recently he has been getting better with this, and even yifan and tao have helped comfort him, in glad he now has new ways to deal with this after what he had to go through in sm

along with this, luhan has spoken out about the difference in treatment from the chinese and korean members and that they always got less while the korean members didn’t have it easy, just better

tao (2012-2015)

tao was the last one of the three to leave exo, he left during call me baby era. tao has suffered from countless injuries while in exo, and he was always performing as well.

it’s crazy how much tao had been through while he was in exo, all these injuries and continuing to carry on just to be called a liar and traitor by people who used to be fans of him

the fact that he went through all this and still stayed even longer than yifan and luhan is really something. tao was overworked, barely had rest, and on top of that had to carry on with his injuries.

and now the video of him being mistaken for a bts member has been going around the ot12 community. yeah he ain’t gonna forget he was a member, i wouldn’t if i was in one of the most popular boy groups for three years like

i’d also like to say that clip just has been taken out of context, honestly he was thought to be some other person after haven taken a picture with which was rude itself

as for new exols, no you are not obligated to be attached to kris luhan and/or tao as they are no longer members nor were you there while they were. you do not have to force them on you, it’s obvious you don’t like them as much as the current members, so please at lease just say-

-you support them solo, lie if you need to, that’s all i ask, associating them with exo these days is wrong, you can be ot9 + ex3 it’s so easy please stop it. they have not been 12 for 6, i repeat 6 years. it’s over they aren’t coming back please at least pretend like you care

i also don’t want to see any exols saying “they were there during the ot12 days” just so you can use them to be ot12, us who have been there, including me, have all moved on please stop lying it’s obvious you have no idea what you’re talking about
