Breast Reductions.

A breast reduction accomplishes 3 main objectives:
1- Reduce the breast volume
2- Reposition existing Breast tissue
3 - Reposition and/or reduce the aereola/nipple.

In some cases, excess fat may be removed through liposuction in conjunction with the excision techniques I’m about to describe ....

Incision types
1- Circular pattern around the Areola

2-A keyhole or racquet-shaped pattern with an incision around the areola and vertically down to the breast crease

3-An inverted T or anchor-shaped incision pattern

𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜.

After the incision is made, the nipple (which remains tethered to its original blood and nerve supply) is then repositioned. The areola is reduced by excising skin at the perimeter, if necessary.

𝙍𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙨𝙪𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙧𝙚𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜.

Here’s where it gets tricky. Underlying breast tissue is reduced, lifted and shaped. The final result achieved boils down to your surgeons skill/technique and your breast tissue

Again, if your surgeon knows how to PROPERLY reposition your existing breast tissue , you don’t NEED an implant.

So now let’s discuss reductions with implants.

As previously stated , with the right surgeon you don’t NEED an implant , however implants provide more upper pole fullness.

An implant will better achieve the “perky” look , where you have cleavage without a bra. Implants provide better contours and can help reshape, especially when your natural shape isn’t “aesthetically pleasing”.

Surgeons that are trained in advanced methods ( you gotta pay for the names of those #SorryNotSorry ) produce the beautiful results I featured above.

Surgeons that don’t have that advance training will Push you towards an implant or produce undesirable results like these....

The breast tend to look square or flat and “pancake-ish. Side boob is non existence and there’s almost ZERO cleavage
