I'm still super early in the game (obviously) but my progress in an hour or so last night was to meet an old man, find a Time Temple, beat up some goblins, get some swords and bows, raise some spires, then go through a shrine where I got a magnet app for my phone. https://twitter.com/pk_sullivan/status/1298122654713618432

The old man then told me to teleport back to a spire and locate the other shrines on this plateau. I was supposed to mark them on my map but the game doesn't tell you if you marked the right place. I went to a marker and snuck past some pillars with laser beam eyes to a shrine.

This game is a lot weirder than I expected it to be.

Okay, so I did scout out the right locations but two of them are in cold areas I where I need something to keep warm. Discovered that a torch will do that. It’s also a weapon, but will break if I use it too much and it will extinguish if I put it away. Yikes.

On my way to the final shrine I decided to climb a mountain because it was there (Edmond Hillary RP, I guess). That jerk of an old man was waiting up there and was like, "How'd you get here without proper clothes hohoho have a jacket" like, fuck you, Beardo.

Cleared the four shrines, got the five apps and now this fuckin nerd is all "imagine an X with the points at the shrines... meet me where the lines cross"

Broseph, just tell me to go to the damn Time Temple.

Fired up BotW again. Gonna start a hashtag so I can find this thread easier in the future. #PKBotW is the most obvious.

Anyway, got a paraglider and found my first shrine where getting the chest is tricky. Keep falling into an endless abyss on misjudged glides.
