On @voicelunch today we're chatting with @CoCoHub_ai and some of their bots.

They just shared their vision for AI for cars:
- "A friend on the road"
- Your car's personality reflects how you want it to be, it's name, etc
"What if you could interact with your virtual social influencer?"

Given some of the issues we have with sock puppets and bots these days... I'm... not... thrilled with this notion.
We had a demo of Anna and B.Lender chatting.

Anna started out somewhat Eliza-like, but the conversation picked up. Turning to exercise, eventually.

"On Anna's side, this is all scripted. Someone has been thinking about this."
"Practically speaking - this is meaningless."
A brief sidebar with @YakiDunietz talking about the AI components.

"Cover a narrow domain."
"Could have a goal, and the component helps the user get to the goal or fails."
"There needs to be a bot master that reviews the script and how it works."

THIS is the crucial nugget.
Some more from @YakiDunietz

"For the next 10 years, every component has to be scripted."
"The only way components are improved is if they are shared."
This was an interesting #VoiceLunch with lots of fun... and lots of insights.

And... you know... Maggie singing along with a bot.
(The picture was from slightly earlier - when @karol_stryja was showing off his "Hey Google" hat, so I had to pull out my Glass hat.)
