If you can’t afford that, thank them in the program for their help. It’s free! And it shows that you recognize that they did something of value for you. /2

Offer them tickets to the show! Let them know you appreciate them! /3

And then think about why you don’t know any actors of that ethnicity and fix it. /4

I will always offer names because I want my friends to work. But it is upsetting not to be acknowledged for offering a valuable service to an institution that almost always has more resources than I do. /fin
