CL is a Korean singer who debudet with a kpop group called 2ne1. A few years ago she moved to the US and signed a contract with Scooter Braun to start her solo career. In the early days she spent entire days writing songs for Scooter, but he rejected all of them;

In 2016, CL had to announce the cancellation of her much anticipated solo concert in Mexico due to “circumstances outside of our control”. Some blackjacks (2ne1’s fans) said that the ticket prices were too expensive and only a few people bought them+

In the other side, some rumors said CL had planned a reunion with 2ne1 for the concert but she had to cancel it because Scooter threatened her saying that if she gave the concert her debut album would never come out! Idk if this’s real but that debut album has never been released

Some years ago, Scooter Braun receveid a demo of Dj Snake which was officially recorded by CL; the song is Justin Bieber’s hit ‘Let Me Love You’. Scooter took that song from CL and gave it to Bebier “for no reason”, here is the orginal version:

Fortunately, her 6 years contract with Scooter is ended; she only released a few songs during those years with zero promotion and no album. She ended her contract with YG last year and she released her solo EP project ‘In The Name of Love” that contains unreleased tracks!

Now it seems she’s working for her new comeback. I hope y’all will support her bc she deserves more
