🗣 It’s time for another twitter thread on how @COSAGOV isn’t being quite as transparent as they say they are.

Today we’re talking about the #SASpeakUp survey report. I’ll start with the positive - there were 163% MORE survey responses than on last year’s survey. 👏🏽 (1/?)
Residents’ top 3 priorities were
1. Public health
2. Housing
3. Senior/Youth Services #SASpeakUp

But now it’s time to get into the glaring differences between last year’s report and this year’s. (2/?)
Last year’s #SASpeakUp survey report was 110 PAGES LONG!

This year’s? 12 pages. That’s it. Why? Let’s get into it. (3/?)
So here’s why last year’s #SASpeakUp survey report was almost 100 pages longer than this year’s - it actually included resident comments! (4/?)
There are NO resident comments on this year’s #SASpeakUp “final report.” It wouldn’t be called final if they were “working on it” so please note that any changes that follow after this have likely resulted from us calling em out when they likely thought no one would notice (5/6)
So in conclusion, we have reason to believe that this lack of transparency is due to the fact that residents’ priorities are not aligned with city staff priorities, so this would prove that although we have spoken up, we were not at all heard. #SASpeakUp 🗣 SHOW THE COMMENTS
